Speaking at a certificate distribution ceremony of First Introductory Short Course for Health Journalists, held on Saturday at Arag Auditorium of Dow Medical College, DUHS Vice Chancellor Prof Masood Hameed Khan pointed out that proper understanding of issues by media personal is very important. He announced that DUHS would give computer and technical training to the children of health journalists which would help them in building their future career. Introductory Short Course for Health Journalists is a capacity-building course from a series of short courses for health journalists being offered by DUHS in collaboration with Association of Health Journalists Pakistan (AHJP).

ISLAMABAD: NUST team has been awarded with first prize of Rs 500,000 for brain-controlled artificial limb at award-giving ceremony of Prime Minister’s Entrepreneurial Challenge programme DISCOVER, at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani awarded the team.The event was also attended by Minister for Science and Technology Mir Changez Khan Jamali and Chairman Higher Education Commission Dr. Javaid Laghari
